 |
| There's no TV in our living
room so it's a perfect place to sit and sip a cup of herbal tea
or work on a new song with a co-writer |
This is Bryan's favorite
place to sit and play his guitar or read. Lots of great songs
have been written in this chair! |
Other Stuff About Us:
 |
◄
We love flowers and during the summer we almost
always have fresh flowers from our garden in the house.
►
We inherited a wonderful old rustic handmade rocker that Holly's
Great-Grandfather, Jack Alford, (Pa) made for Great-Grandmother,
Effie Alford, (Ma, of course) when she became pregnant with her first
child (of 14!) who was Holly's Grandmother, Mittie Alford Ferguson (Mam-maw). |

Before You Ask . . . .
We're located approximately 6 minutes from I-40
and 20 minutes or so (depending on traffic) from downtown, Music Row,
the Bluebird, etc.
When you stay at The Writer's Room you're free to come
and go as you please. There is no "curfew" and we promise not to tell
your mom if you come in really late.
Be aware that Nashville is NOT a walker friendly city and the bus system
doesn't run in the 'burbs at night. So, if you plan to be out and about
soaking up some great music, we suggest contacting Budget Car Rental. Of
course, you can always hire a cab... but that gets pricey.
