Bryan Cumming is a multi-instrumentalist who owns and operates Studio 23 (www.bryancumming.com). Bryan has a long history in music business and has toured or recorded with many well-known artists such as Billy and the Beaters, David Soul, Sha-Na-Na, Maria Muldaur, Cleve Francis, Anne Murray, John Hall, and on and on. His focus in the studio is creating a product that matches what the artist / songwriter hears in his head. Bryan is a founding member of The WannaBeatles, a well-known Beatles tribute band here in Nashville (www.thewannabeatles.com).
Holly Cumming is a Psychotherapist and has a private practice in Brentwood. She gardens and bird-watches in her spare time. Holly is Bryan's #1 fan when it comes to his music!
The Cummings first opened their home to songwriters in 1998. They found some of their Studio 23 clients were trying to stretch their project budgets to accomodate the high hotel fees of Music City. In an effort to help them stay on budget, the Cummings opened their guest room at a reasonable rate.
Since that time, The Writer's Room has had the pleasure of hosting guests from all over the U.S. and from around the globe. Visitors from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South America, Africa,and even Alabama have enjoyed a stay. The Writer's Room still waiting on songwriters from Asia and Antarctica!
